A petroleum pipeline has reportedly exploded in Ijedodo area of Ijegun, within Isolo-Ojo Local Government area of Lagos state. Residents of the area claim that the fire has been raging for over six hours. Although fire fighters re on ground, but officials of NEMA said they can not access the area because of the route that leads to the scene. More details on this will be brought to you soon.

I read this report just now that Spanish police caught a woman smuggling more than a kilogram of cocaine hidden inside implants in her breasts. The AFP report through Vanguard states that Panamanian woman was caught at Barcelona airport after getting off a flight from Colombia, officials reportedly questioned the woman as part of standard checks carried out on passengers from Colombia — a major source of cocaine. When they searched her, they found bloody dressings on the wounds.

Housemaid And Manager Kill Boss, Take Over Business

                                      

Based on Punch newspaper reports, the Lagos State Police Command has arrested a manager and a housemaid for killing their boss, Alhaja Sikirat Eko, in Omole Phase 1, Lagos State. Alhaja Eko was said to be running a restaurant and bar in her compound, where she lived alone with the maid. The newspaper report also states that the suspects allegedly killed Eko at her home located on 5, Babatunde Ladega Street and kept her corpse within the premises.

The suspects were said to have continued to run the restaurant, giving neighbours and customers the impression that the deceased had travelled. The two were said to have run out of luck when relatives of the deceased came on a visit. When the suspects could not provide a satisfactory answer, the matter was said to have been reported at Area G Command, in Ogba. A police source who preferred to remain anonymous, reportedly told the newspaper that the manager threw Eko into a well inside the compound along with a generator. The manager was said to have taken her phone which he used in impersonating her.

Justice  Gabriel Kolawole of the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court, Tuesday, admitted into evidence, call logs and text messages allegedly exchanged between Senator Ali Ndume and the self confessed spokesman of the Boko Haram sect, Ali Sanda Umar Konduga. It was the Federal Government that tendered the said call logs which were yesterday tagged as “Primary evidence” against Ndume who is currently representing Borno South in the Senate.

Okada Rider Electrocuted By PHCN Wire In Lagos

                                         

An okada rider was recently killed in Lagos by fallen PHCN high tension wires. The incident which reportedly happened in Ejigbo part of Lagos on Saturday along Ailegun Road, off Ronik College has been confirmed by the state police spokes person. The victim whose name is Oche Samuel reportedly took his motorcycle to a mechanic shop in the area when the ugly incident happened. He unknowingly stepped on some of the fallen PHCN wires and was immediately electrocuted.

School Bus Driver Repeatedly Raped 13-Year-Old Student Inside School Bus

                                    

According to China Daily news reports, a school bus driver in Northeast China's Heilongjiang province has been detained by police on suspicion of regularly raping a 13-year-old girl over the past two years ago.
The driver, surnamed Liu, is accused of forcing the girl to stay in a hotel room where he raped her, most recently on the night of Nov 30.  He even called his friend surnamed Wang to the hotel and they sexually assaulted the girl together, according to a report of the Heilongjiang Morning News on Monday.

According to Daily Trust news reports, a middle-aged man suspected to be a car snatcher was in the wee hours of Saturday shot dead at Kubwa by the vehicle owner, who is a police officer.
